Transpek's Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Prevention and Control

We, at Transpek, are closely monitoring the Coronavirus pandemic situation as it continues to disrupt various countries and places. We are committed to giving the highest priority to the health and safety of our employees and business partners and associates.

During the period Govt. of India declared nationwide lockdown and has allowed only the manufacturing and distribution of essential commodities and medicines, we had suspended production at our factory for the time being.

However, we always had a small but competent team deployed at the factory to ensure the safety and integrity of all our plant and equipment and stored materials. In order to ensure their safety, we followed strictly the guidelines of WHO and Govt. of India as well as the State Govt.

Some specific steps that we have taken are…….

1. Suspension of all domestic and international travels.

2. Engagement with employees to emphasize social distancing, hygiene, and self-isolation wherever applicable.

3.  Enhanced sanitation and cleaning at the factory and office premises. Temperature checking and sanitization for all employees and visitors (visitors are allowed only when absolutely necessary).

4. Offices are functioning with employees coming in rotation to keep physical presence to minimum at any point in time while ensuring that the work is taken care of.

5. Cancellation of all physical meetings. All meetings are conducted through Video or Audio conferencing.

We are also happy to inform that our teams are helping the communities affected due to the complete lockdown of the area. We are also committed to helping the employees manage and overcome difficulties during these times.

The company has undertaken many initiatives including counselling to employees, medical advice as and when needed, Covid specific health insurance in addition to the normal medical insurance and helping employees in whatever manner necessary.
