Being a signatory to the Responsible Care Movement, Transpek is open and transparent with its shareholders, the community, environmental groups, the government, local authorities, the media and the general public.
A green belt is specially created by Transpek to maintain the ecological balance around it's manufacturing site. These green sentries are the final line of defense in a long chain of pollution control measures that demonstrate Transpek'S awareness of its environmental commitments.

Environment, Health & Safety
All vents from the plants are connected and diverted to a scrubbing section to ensure that there is no air pollution. Liquid effluent is treated at in-house ETP prior to discharge in the effluent discharge channel. A full fledged incineration plant is installed with permitted secured landfill area for solid waste disposal. A green belt is specially created with more than 16000 trees in over 100 acres of land.
To ensure good health of employees, a periodical medical check up is undertaken. The company has 24 hour Occupational Health Center, Medication Center and a dedicated troop with ambulance to attend to occupational hazards and also emergencies.
Transpek is a member of the National Safety Council, Mumbai as well as Gujarat Safety Council, Vadodara on the local level. Adequate safety and preventive measures on and off the work floor have ensured in lowering of overall number of accidents. As per ISO requisites, on-site mock drills and emergency plans are reviewed and performed on pre-determined basis. Being a signatory to Responsible Care, Transpek also extends regular off-site help to the local factory inspectorate.
